Eastern Illinois will look to bounce back from a 3-9 season. With 31 transfers, QB
Cole Lacrue, a transfer from Wisconsin, will lead the revamped EIU offense against a
strong Dayton defense.

Lindenwood at St. Thomas – 6:00 P.M. CT, watch on Midco Sports
Lindenwood starts their second season in the FCS and will look to make a
statement with their explosive offense led by returning QB Nate Glantz.

UT Martin at Oklahoma State – 6:30 P.M. CT, watch on ESPN+
Reigning Co-Champion and FCS Nation’s 25 th ranked team UT Martin will start
the season with a tough test against an FBS team. The Skyhawks’ secondary will look
to stop OSU’s air raid offense.

Western Illinois at Illinois – 6:30 P.M. CT, watch on Peacock
Western Illinois faces a challenging Big Ten offense to open their season.
Saturday, August 30

Cumberland at Tennessee Tech – 12:00 P.M. CT, watch on ESPN+
Preseason favorite and FCS Nation’s 20 th ranked Tennessee Tech hosts NAIA
team Cumberland. EWU transfer Kekoa Visperas, who led the FCS in completion
percentage last season, will make his debut as a Golden Eagle.

North Carolina A&T at Tennessee State – 3:30 P.M. CT, watch on ESPN+
Reigning Co-Champion Tennessee State will see new QB Caleb McCreary make
his debut after transferring from Troy. TSU’s defensive line will look to stuff NCA&T’s run
game.

Southeast Missouri at Arkansas State – 6:00 P.M. CT, watch on ESPN+
Reigning Co-Champion SEMO returns with Jax Leatherwood, a transfer from
San Diego Mesa College, looking to fill the big shoes left by QB Paxton DeLaurent.

Gardner-Webb at Western Carolina – 6:00P.M. CT, watch on ESPN+
Gardner-Webb will look to improve from a 4-8 season but faces a tough
opponent in FCS Nation’s 16 th ranked team Western Carolina. Liberty transfer Nate
Hampton will battle with Marshall transfer Cole Pennington for the starting QB spot.

Charleston Southern at Vanderbilt – 7:00 P.M. CT, watch on ESPN+
Charleston Southern begins the season with an SEC opponent. They look to
rebuild from a 1-11 season last year.
