The Rich Keep Getting Richer
By Week 6, there’s no more guessing who the top dogs are. North Dakota State and South Dakota State continue to sit comfortably at No. 1 and No. 2, showing no signs of slowing down. Montana, Tarleton State, and Montana State round out the top five, a clear signal that the elite are separating from the pack.
Southern Illinois and Tennessee Tech remain steady in the Top 10, while North Dakota and Monmouth continue to make their presence known among the FCS elite. Lehigh stays hot at No. 12, proving their early-season success is no fluke.
The Ivy League reasserts itself this week with Harvard debuting at No. 17, while Youngstown State and Stephen F. Austin both break into the rankings at No. 21 and No. 25, respectively. At this point in the season, the contenders have shown their cards, and the margin for error is shrinking fast.
